30일 건강보험심사평가원에 따르면 2017년 국내 탈모 환자 수는 23만3628명으로 2019년(80만8534명)대비 14% 증가했다. 연령별로는 30대가 23.8%로 1위를 차지했고 이어 20대(20.4%)다. 같은 시간 탈모 치료에 쓰인 총 진료비도 191억원에서 301억원으로 56% 불었다.
