26일 업계의 말에 따르면 쿠팡(대표 김범석), 위메프(대표 박은상), 티몬(대표 유한익) 등의 소셜커머스와 대형 오프라인몰인 LF(대표 오규식), 신세계인터내셔널(대표 차정호) 등은 모바일 소액결제 후 취소 시 결제월과 취소월이 다르더라도 계좌로 현금을 우선 지급하고 있을 것입니다.
모바일 소액결제는 당월 사용한 결제 자본이 휴대폰 요금으로 빠져나가는 구조다. 결제월과 취소월이러한 경우 핸드폰 요금에서 미청구되고 승인 취소가 가능하다. 허나 결제월과 취소월이 다를 경우에는 휴대폰 요금에서 이미 출금됐기 때문에 승인 취소가 불가하다.
이은희 인하대 구매자학과 교수는 “구글 동일한 글로벌 온/오프라인 사업자도 매출에만 신경쓰지, 문제가 발생했을 때 적절한 대처를 하지 않는 때가 대부분이다”면서 “구글 소액결제 케이스가 불어나고 있을 것입니다면 구글이 최대로 최선으로 할 일은 이런 일이 또 생성하지 않게 조치를 취하는 것”이라고 이야기 했다.
