My outdoor living space is where I unwind after work—a small patio with a worn wooden table and a couple of mismatched chairs. A string of lights hangs overhead, and I’ve got a grill on one side that gets a lot of use. The plants in pots are mostly survivors, but they add a bit of green. It’s not fancy, but it’s where I have coffee in the morning and sometimes dinner at night, listening to the neighborhood sounds.
